Bristle worm. Saltwater. Feather Duster Worms. This feather duster has a single, circular crown of radioles. The coloring of the crown is usually in shades of gray to brown, can be uniform, but also variegated or banded. The pattern is formed by spots on the stems of the radioles.

Size: Whole animal up to 6 cm, crown up to 3 cm.
Colour: The colouring of the crown is usually in shades of gray to brown, can be uniform, but also variegated or banded. The pattern is formed by spots on the stems of the radioles.
Shape: The worm-like part of the animal is hidden in parchment-like tubes that are usually hidden in the substrate.

Inhabits reefs. The animal lives on reefs, and on the surrounding sandy or rubble areas. Depth: ranges from 6 m down to 25 m
