Summary

Saltwater fish, Morays, Its serpentine in shape body has a light color with dark brown spots. Top of the fin is black. In daytime hiding with its head sticking out. By night it emerges and swims over the reef in hunt for food.

Characteristics

Size: 30 to 90 cm, max 120 cm
Colour:  Body has a light color with dark brown spots. Top of the fin is black. 
Shape: Serpentine in shape.

Habitat environment and ecology

Inhabits coral reefs, hides during daytime, hunts at night.

Distribution range

BES-eilanden: St. Eustatius.
