SETL-plate Construction Protocol
Construction
- Roughen one side of the plate with sanding paper.
- Drill 4 holes.
Respectively 3.3 cm and 5.5 cm from each corner.
- Pull a short cable tie through each pair of holes.
Use pair of holes with between distance of 7.4 cm,
make sure the two loose ends are not at the sanded
side of the plate.
- Attach the two ends of each Cable Tie.
Do not tighten them.
- Place Brick between the two Cable Ties.
- Connect the two again with two short Cable Ties.
Pull the connecting cable ties through the holes of
the brick.
- Tighten all the Cable Ties with Pincers to firmly
attach the Brick to the Plate.
- Cut away excess ends of Cable Ties.
- Pull long Cable Ties through each top corner hole of
the Brick as well as through one loop of the line.
- Close the Cable Ties but do not tighten.
- Cut away excess ends of Cable Tie.
- Hide connections of Cable Tie in holes
of the Brick.
- Make sure the effective length between Plate
and the top end of Line is 1m.
