Sampling land snails can be done by means of sampling soil, drying it, and sorting the snails out under a binocular. However, there are some species which cannot be identified only by the shell, but body internal features are necessary (e.g Aegopinella nitidula). Anyone knows how to solve this, when the snails are dried (along with the soil)?
